What is Squad?

Squad is a realistic, large-scale tactical first-person shooter where teamwork and coordination decide every match. Teams compete on large battlefields up to 36 km² in size, where 50-versus-50 combined arms warfare unfolds across forests, deserts, and bombed-out cities. Like a real battlefield, you have to outthink and outmaneuver the enemy.

In Squad, a single well-placed ambush can swing an entire round, a well-timed radio call can save your squad. Communication is the weapon that matters most.

Multiplayer

With your own Cybrancee Squad server, you set the rules, you pick the faction matchups, and you build a community that turns every match into a coordinated operation instead of a free-for-all.

Server locations span North America, Europe, the UK, Asia, Australia, and India, so your players get low-latency connections wherever they're logging in from.

Roles and Vehicles

Squad's role system means everyone has a job. Riflemen carry ammo bags to keep the squad in the fight. Medics revive downed teammates and bandage wounds 25% faster than anyone else. Light and Heavy Anti-Tank kits hunt armor with rockets and guided missiles. Automatic Riflemen, Grenadiers, and Marksmen lay down suppressing fire. Crewmen drive the tanks, IFVs, and APCs, Pilots fly the helicopters, and the Squad Leader holds it all together with tactics and communication.

Like warfare in the real world, combined arms is the heart of Squad. Tanks, BMPs, Bradleys, transport trucks, and helicopters all share the same battlefield as boots-on-the-ground infantry. A logistics network keeps your forward bases supplied with construction materials and ammo, and a single destroyed FOB can leave an entire flank vulnerable.

Factions and Maps

Choose from 14 playable factions split across BLUFOR, REDFOR, and INDFOR, including the US Army, British Army, Canadian Army, Australian Defence Force, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian Ground Forces, the People's Liberation Army, and asymmetric forces like the Insurgents and Irregular Militia. Each faction is broken into specialised battlegroups, including Armored, Air Assault, Mechanized, Light Infantry, Support etc.

There are 24 maps based on real-world locations, including the rubble of Fallujah, the snowy expanse of Goose Bay, the jungles of the Sanxian Islands, and the suburbs of Harju in Helsinki.
