How to Add Mods to a Valheim Server

1. Go to the panel and make sure the server is set to “Valheim BepinEx” (Can be located through Switch Loader tab).

2. Open the Mod Manager and locate the Valheim game via the search bar. (This example is done with Thunderstore, skip to step 7 if mods are obtained already).

3. Once the game version (Steam or Xbox Game Pass) has been selected, locate the mods tab and search for your desired mods.

4. After you’ve picked your mods, open the settings tab and open the data folder.

5. Open (Valheim -> Profiles -> Default -> BepinEx -> Plugins) These will be your installed mods.

Alternatively, you can go to the path directly in your file explorer
C:\Users\(USER)\AppData\Roaming\Thunderstore Mod Manager\DataFolder\Valheim\profiles\Default\BepInEx\plugins.

6. Go back to the panel and open the files tab.

7. Open the BepinEx folder, then open the plugins folder.

9. Once the Mods are in the Plugins folder, Start the server.
