Use this guide to understand the basic controls of your Pterodactyl panel.
Pterodactyl provides various control options for your application. These controls are listed below your console window. The 4 buttons are: Start, Restart, Stop, Kill
| Function | Description |
| Start | This button starts the server and uses the parameters defined within the start up page. |
| Restart | This button will safely turn the server off, and then start the server again. |
| Stop | This button will safely turn the server off. |
| Kill | This button should only be used if the application becomes unresponsive. This is a way of force stopping the application. |
