How to Host a Project Zomboid Server (Build 41)

1. Log In for the First Time

After placing your order on the Cybrancee website, you will receive an email confirming your order as well as an email inviting you to create your panel account. To get access for the first time, you will need to create your panel account.

Select the ‘Setup Your Account’ button.

If you did not receive this email, you can go to panel.cybrancee.com and do a Password Reset from there.

2. Set Your Password

Set your password using the provided fields.

3. Access Your Panel Dashboard

You will be taken back to the login page where you can now log in with your new set of credentials. Once logged in, you will be presented with the Cybrancee Pterodactyl Control Panel. This is where you will manage and configure your game server. From here, select the ‘Manage Server’ button.

4. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

5. Change the Startup Parameters

(1) Set a Name for Your Server: This will create a new world based on the server name.

(2) Enter legacy41 in the ‘Steam Beta Branch’ Field.

(3) Enter the Value 1 in the ‘Steam Auto Update’ Field:
This will allow the files to be downloaded correctly from the Steam servers.

6. Select the ‘Settings’ Tab

7. Select ‘Reinstall Server’

7.1 Select the ‘Delete Current Files and Reinstall Server’ Option

9. Start Your Server


10. Get Your Connection Details

To join your server, use the IP address and port provided on the ‘Dashboard’ tab.

11. Open the Project Zomboid Game

In the game’s main menu, select ‘JOIN’.

12. Enter the Connection Details

Enter the IP Address and Port from panel as well as your Account Username and Account Password. If you are joining as Admin, use the credentials in the Startup Page.

13. Join Your Server

Once the server has been added, select the server from the list and select ‘JOIN SERVER’.
