| Loader | Description |
| Vanilla | The standard version of Minecraft with no mods/plugins. |
| Forge | A modified version of Minecraft using the Forge modding API. This is used if you want to play with mods/modpacks. |
| Paper | A high performance Minecraft version allowing the use of plugins. Paper is an enhanced fork of Spigot. |
