How to Get My Pterodactyl Server IP Address

Our Pterodactyl servers use a standard format of: hostname:port – Because of this, the IP address isn’t immediately available to see.

If you would like to see your IP address, the quickest way to do this would be to ping the hostname using either CMD or Terminal (depending on whether you are a Windows, Linux or MacOS user). This guide using CMD, but the commands are exactly the same for Terminal.

1. Open your CMD or Terminal application

2. Run the following command, replacing the “hostname” value with your Pterodactyl hostname:


ping hostname

e.g.

ping bot-service.cybrancee.com

You can get your hostname by looking just above your Pterodactyl panel console window:

3. You will see a response like below, this is where you can see the IP address
