How to Host a Rust Server

1. Log in for the First Time

After placing your order on the Cybrancee website, you will receive an email confirming your order. The first step is to access the Control Panel, where you will manage the server. To get access for the first time, you will need to reset your password (this is because we don’t share the password via email).

Go to https://panel.cybrancee.com and when greeted with the login page, click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button. Alternatively, you can get to the Panel by going to Client Area > Click on the ‘Services’ box > Click on your product > Click ‘Go to Panel’.

2. Reset Your Password

You will receive a reset password email like the image below. Click the ‘Reset Password’ button to initiate the process.

3. Set a New Password

Enter a new secure password into the form, then click the ‘Reset Password’ button.

4. Access Your Panel Dashboard

You will be taken back to the login page where you can now log in with your new set of credentials. Once logged in, you will be presented with the Cybrancee Pterodactyl Control Panel. This is where you will manage and configure your game server. From here, click on the ‘Manage Server’ button.

5. Update Your Server Name

By default, Rust will have started automatically with the default settings on the latest version. Do note, Rust is a large game and can take 5-10 minutes to start up for the first time.

You will need to go to the Startup Page and set a suitable Server Name. This is what you will search for when joining your server via Rust.

6. Open the Rust Game

Open the Rust game, and click ‘PLAY GAME’. Select the Community servers section, and enable the filter to show ‘Empty Servers’. Type your server name into the search box – your server should now show.

7. Join the Server

Click on the server from the list, and press ‘JOIN SERVER’.

8. Play Rust! 🎉

You are now ready to play Rust.
