How To Reset Player Data On Your Rust Server

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Locate Your Rust Server Files

Locate your Rust server files at /home/container/server/rust.

5. Select the Files

Select the following database files (the numbers in the filenames may vary depending on your server):

  • player.deaths.x.db
  • player.deaths.x.db-wal
  • player.identities.x.db
  • player.identities.x.db-wal
  • player.states.x.db
  • player.states.x.db-wal

(The ‘X’ in the filenames represents a number that may vary depending on your server — just look for the files with similar names.)

Optional files

  • player.tokens.db
  • player.tokens.db-wal

Do not delete world data or blueprint files if you want to keep your map and player blueprints.

6. Delete the Selected Files

Select the ‘Delete’ button (trash can icon).
