How To Install Mods on Your Project Zomboid Server (Build 42)

1. Open the Project Zomboid Steam Workshop

2. Select the ‘Build 42’ Tab

3. Select the Mod You Want To Install

3.1. Copy the Workshop ID and Mod ID Values

You can find these values by scrolling to the bottom of the mod’s page description.

4. Log In to Your Panel


5. Select the ‘Config & Mods’ Tab

6. Change the ‘Mod Manager’ To ‘Build 42’

(1) Select the ‘Build 42 (Stable)’ Button.

(2) Select the ‘Add Workshop Item’ Button.

7. Add the Mod Details

(1) Enter the Workshop ID in the ‘Workshop ID’ Field.

(2) Enter the Mod ID in the ‘Mod ID’ Field.

Then, select the ‘Save Configuration’ Button:

7.1. Optional: Add More Than One Mod ID

If the mod you want to add has more than one ‘Mod ID’ under the same ‘Workshop ID’, you can select the ‘Add Mod ID’ button to add them.

8. Disable the ‘Do Lua Checksum’ Option

At the bottom of the page, make sure you have the ‘Do Lua Checksum’ option disabled.

9. Restart Your Server
