How To Adjust Item Spoilage on Your Palworld Server

Note:

If your carefully farmed food is rotting too quickly—or if you want to make survival much more difficult—the ItemCorruptionMultiplier is the setting you need. This variable controls the speed at which perishable items (mostly food) “spoil” or “decay” in your inventory and storage.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Locate the Variable

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Search for ItemCorruptionMultiplier

Setting Value	Spoilage Speed	Effect
0.0	No Decay	Disabled. Food never rots. Perfect for creative or relaxed builders.
0.5	Slow	Food lasts twice as long. Great for longer exploration trips.
1.0	Default	Standard Palworld spoilage rate.
2.0+	Accelerated	Food rots very quickly. Requires advanced refrigeration strategies.
