How To Limit the Number of Purges Allowed per Day on Your Conan Exiles Server

Note:

Defending against a Purge can be a fun and rewarding challenge, but having your base constantly under siege can quickly become exhausting. If your server population is highly active and triggering Purges too often, you can easily cap the maximum number of Purges that are allowed to happen across the server within a 24-hour period.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ tab

3. Navigate to ‘ServerSettings.ini‘ File

File Path: home > container > ConanSandbox > SavedConfig > WindowsServer

4. Adjust the Limit

Look for the line PurgePeriodicity=24. Change the number to the maximum amount of Purges you want to allow daily.

Note: If this line does not exist, simply create a new line directly underneath the [ServerSettings] header and type it in exactly as shown above, followed by your chosen number.

5. Understand the Setting

This setting limits the total number of Purges that can happen on the server per day.

1: Restricts the server to a single massive Purge event per day.

24 (Default): Allows up to 24 Purges per day across the server (effectively one per hour if players are triggering them).

4: Limits the server to only 4 Purges per day, giving players a much-needed break between attacks.
