How to Enable RCON on Your V Rising Server Using Startup Variables

Note:

RCON lets admins control and talk to their V Rising server from afar. You need special RCON tools for this, though. First, turn on RCON and set up a safe password before you can use it.

1. Log in to Your Panel

2. Select Your VRising Server

You can do so by clicking the “Manage server” option, which will open the dashboard by default.

It should look like this :

3. Stop Your Server

4. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

Scroll down the Sidebar until you find the Startup Tab.

5. Locate the ‘Enable RCON’ Setting

Scroll down until you find the [ADVANCED] ENABLE RCON option.

6. Enable the RCON Setting

Toggle the setting to Enabled.

“Enabled”: Allows RCON connections to the server.

OR

“Disabled”: Prevents all RCON connections.

7. Locate the ‘RCON Password’ Setting

Locate the [ADVANCED] RCON PASSWORD field.

8. Enter a Secure RCON Password

Enter a secure password that will be used when connecting through RCON.
