How to Update Your Palworld Server to Version 1.0

Note:

Due to the current incompatibility with mods, the Modded version of Palworld 1.0 is not yet functional. Please use the Switch Loader to set your server to the Vanilla version. Be aware that switching to Vanilla will cause your world to reset.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Back Up Your World Before Updating

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/

Select ‘Archive’

Download the Archive File

4. Back Up Your Config File

Note:

If you have a WorldOption.sav file inside your save folder, it overrides your .ini settings. Make sure you back it up alongside your world folder

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

Download ‘PalWorldSettings.ini‘ File

5. Select the ‘Switch Loader’ Tab

Switch to ‘Palworld Vanilla’

6. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

7. Enable the ‘AUTO UPDATE’ Toggle

8. Restart Your Server

---

9. Confirm the Version

Once the server starts, check the console for:

Program Version: v1.0.18
