How To Change the PvP Settings on Your 7 Days To Die Server

Note:

PvP is configurable to turn friendly fire on or off to allies or, optionally, allow allies to harm each other through an opt-in system using the in-game menu. Alternatively, the server can be set to PvE by disabling damage to other players entirely.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Locate the ‘serverconfig.xml’ File

You can find the file in home/container/serverconfig.xml.

5. Find and Replace the Value of “PlayerKillingMode” to the Desired Value

The values range from 0 to 5.

Value	Player Setting	Description
0	No PvP	PvP Will be turned off and players will be able to attack eachother.
1	Opt-in PvP with allies only	Players can only attack their allies.
2	PvP with strangers only	Players can attack everyone except for their allies.
3	PvP with anyone	Players deal damage to everyone, including allies.
