How To Configure AI Investigation Behaviour on Your Insurgency Server

Note:

A radius of 500 units allows bots to conclude their search upon reaching the general vicinity of a lost target. Decreasing this value forces the AI to investigate your exact last known coordinates, significantly increasing the difficulty of stealth and evasion.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘Game.ini’ file

Navigate to:

Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

5. Edit the ‘Game.ini’ File

AutoSuccessRangeFromLastSeenLocationSearch Tolerance: Defines the radius (in Unreal Units) around a target’s last known position. Once an investigating bot enters this boundary, it will consider its search task “successful” and stop actively hunting that specific spot.
