How To Set a Password on Your Sons of the Forest Server

Note:

You must have the password enabled in order to join with a password. You can learn how to enable or disable it here: How To Enable or Disable Password on Your Sons Of The Forest Server.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Open the dedicatedserver.cfg File

Navigate to: home/container/serverconfig/

Then open: dedicatedserver.cfg

4. Modify the Password Setting

Modify the following line:

“Password”: “YourPasswordHere”

5. Update the Password Setting

6. Restart the Server
