How To Change AI Difficulty on Your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

Note:

Before editing, make sure your server is offline so your changes aren’t overwritten. If your Game.ini is empty, you must include the Section Header (the text in brackets) for the commands to work.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘Game.ini’ file

Navigate to:

Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

5. Edit the ‘Game.ini’ File

Goal	Section Header	Exact Code to Paste	Function Description
Server Name	[/Script/Insurgency.INSGameMode]	ServerName="Your Name"	Sets the public name that appears in the Server Browser.
Password	[/Script/Insurgency.INSGameMode]	ServerPassword="YourPass"	Locks the server; players must enter this to join.
Max Players	[/Script/Insurgency.INSGameMode]	MaxPlayers=12	Defines the total number of player slots available.
Kill Feed	[/Script/Insurgency.INSGameMode]	bKillFeed=True	Enables the UI notification that shows who killed whom.
AI Difficulty	[/Script/Insurgency.INSCoopMode]	AIUIDifficulty=0.5	Scales bot skill from 0.1 (Easy) to 1.0 (Elite).
