How to Enable/Disable doDaylightCycle on Your Minecraft Server

In this article, we will explain how to enable or disable doDaylightCycle on your Minecraft server for version 1.21.11 and 26.X, as the command and the way to execute it have changed starting from these versions.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

3. Enter the Command gamerule advance_time

It is very important that you first enter the command ‘gamerule advance_time’ without specifying true or false, as this first command will allow the game to recognize the changes made afterward.

Then, press the ‘Enter’ key:

After sending the command, you will see a message showing the current status of the advance_time mechanic:

3.1. Enter the Command gamerule advance_time <value>

Enter the command gamerule advance_time <value>, replacing <value> with true (to enable it) or false (to disable it).

For example: ‘gamerule advance_time false’.

Then, press the ‘Enter’ key:

After sending the command, you will see a message reflecting the status change of the advance_time mechanic. In our case, having disabled it:
