How To Configure Multiple World Clusters on Your Don’t Starve Together Server

2. Navigate to the ‘Files’ Tab

5. Rename the ‘Server’ Folder

Select the three dots (...) on the far right side of the 'server' folder’s row and choose 'Rename'. Change the name to something memorable, such as 'server_main_world'or 'server_old', and press 'Rename' to apply the change.

6. Restart Your Server

7. After Restarting Your Server, You Should have a New Cluster Generated

Because the original folder was renamed, the server detects that the default directory is missing and automatically generates a brand new 'server' folder with completely fresh world data.

8. Switching Between Clusters

Whenever you want to swap back to a previous world, stop your server and return to the Config directory.

First, rename your currently active 'server' folder to store it safely (e.g., 'server_second_world'). Next, locate your previously renamed folder (e.g., 'server_main_world') and rename it back to exactly 'server'. Start the server to immediately resume playing on that saved cluster.
