How To Give Players Free Armor and Helmets on Your CS2 Server

Note:

You can apply these variables instantly without modifying your server.cfg files. Log into your Cybrancee Game Panel, open the Console tab, and type the commands directly into the command line. Type mp_restartgame 1 afterward to apply the rules to the current round.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘server.cfg’ File

Navigate to:

game/csgo/cfg/

5. Edit the file

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside server.cfg

Command	Server Effect
mp_free_armor 0	Disabled (Default): Players spawn with no armor. They must purchase Kevlar and Helmets manually using their own money.
mp_free_armor 1	Kevlar Only: Every player spawns with body armor (Kevlar) automatically equipped, but no helmet. This is the default setting for CS2 Casual mode.
mp_free_armor 2	Kevlar + Helmet: Every player spawns fully equipped with both body armor and a helmet. This is the standard setting for Deathmatch and Retake servers.
