How to Install Calamity Mod on Your Terraria Server

Note: 

Learning how to install Calamity mod on your Terraria server requires running tModLoader. Ensure your server is completely offline before modifying game files to prevent configuration errors.


1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Console’ tab to access your server’s controls.

3. Stop Your Server

In the top-right corner of the console, select the red ‘Stop’ button to shut down your server safely before modifying game files.

4. Select the ‘Switch Loader’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Switch Loader’ tab to access alternative server loaders.

5. Select the ‘tModLoader’ Option

Locate ‘tModLoader’ from the available loaders, select it, and confirm the installation to enable mod support on your Terraria server.

6. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Files’ tab to open your server’s root file directory.

7. Open the ‘mods’ Folder

In the file directory list, locate and click on the ‘mods’ folder to open your server’s mod storage directory.

8. Upload the Calamity Mod File

Select the ‘Upload’ button in the top-right corner and choose your CalamityMod.tmod file to upload it directly into the mods directory.

9. Enable the Mod in the Configuration File

Open the enabled.json file inside the mods directory, add “CalamityMod” to the active list, and select ‘Save Content’ to ensure the mod loads on startup.

10. Start Your Server

Navigate back to the ‘Console’ tab and select the green ‘Start’ button to launch your Terraria server with the Calamity mod active.
