How to Change the Default Port on Your Terraria Server

Note: To change default port settings successfully, ensure the new port is already allocated to your server in the Cybrancee panel before editing your configuration file.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Console’ tab to access your server control dashboard.

3. Stop Your Server

Click the red ‘Stop’ button on the console dashboard and wait until your server status displays ‘Offline’.

4. Select the ‘Ports’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Ports’ tab under the Management section to view your server’s allocated port numbers.

5. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Files’ tab to access your server root directory.

6. Open the serverconfig.txt File

Locate the serverconfig.txt file in the file list and click on it to open the configuration editor.

7. Change the Port Setting

Locate the port parameter and enter your new allocated port number after the equal sign.

8. Save Your Changes

Click the purple ‘Save Content’ button in the top right of the file editor to save your port configuration.

9. Return to the ‘Console’ Tab

From the left navigation menu, select the ‘Console’ tab to return to the server dashboard.

10. Start Your Server

Click the green ‘Start’ button to launch your Terraria server with the new port configuration.
