How To Change the Match Win Limit on Your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

Note:

Before editing, make sure your server is offline so your changes aren’t overwritten. If your Game.ini is empty, you must include the Section Header (the text in brackets) for the commands to work. If the header already exists in your file, add the command directly underneath it instead of duplicating the header.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘Game.ini’ file

Navigate to:

Insurgency/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/

5. Edit the ‘Game.ini’ File

Configuration Element	Exact Code	Notes
Header Section	[/Script/Insurgency.INSGameMode]	Ensure this is at the top of the block. Do not duplicate if it already exists.
Command Line (Sudden Death)	WinLimit=1	Place directly under the header. The match ends after a single round victory.
Command Line (Standard)	WinLimit=3	Place directly under the header. A standard best-of format where the first team to 3 wins takes the match.
Command Line (Extended)	WinLimit=5	Place directly under the header. Creates a long-format match requiring 5 round victories to win.
