How To Find Steam Workshop Mod IDs for Space Engineers

Note:

A Mod ID is completely permanent! Even if the original creator changes the name, updates the files, or completely overhauls the mod, the ID number stays the exact same. This ensures your server always downloads the correct, most up-to-date version upon restarting.

1. Open the Steam Workshop

2. Find Your Desired Mod

3. Find the URL Address

The Mod ID is always located directly inside the web address (URL) of the mod’s Workshop page.

Look at the address bar at the very top left of your screen. You will see a URL that looks like this:

https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3224010103

4. Copy the ID Number

Look at the very end of the URL for the section that says ?id=. The long string of numbers immediately following the equals sign is your exact Mod ID.

For example, looking at the URL in the image above, here is the ID: 3224010103.
