How To Configure Spectator Rules and Camera Restrictions on Your CS2 Server

Note:

You can apply these variables instantly without modifying your server.cfg files. Log into your Cybrancee Game Panel, open the Console tab, and type both commands directly into the command line. Type mp_restartgame 1 afterward to apply the rules to the current round.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘server.cfg’ File

Navigate to:

game/csgo/cfg/

5. Edit the file

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside server.cfg

Command	Server Effect
mp_forcecamera 0	Unrestricted: Dead players can spectate anyone (teammates or enemies) in first-person, third-person, or free-roaming noclip mode.
mp_forcecamera 1	Team-Only (Default): Dead players are restricted to spectating their own living teammates. They cannot see the enemy team.
mp_forcecamera 2	Hardcore First-Person: Dead players are strictly locked to the first-person perspective of their own teammates.
