How To Enable Infinite Ammo and Infinite Grenades for Practice on Your CS2 Server

Why you might NOT want them in server.cfg

The server.cfg file runs every time the server starts or a map changes. If you put sv_cheats 1 and sv_infinite_ammo 1 in there:

Cheats will be enabled globally by default, which might interfere if you ever want to use the server for a serious 5v5 or a competitive warm-up.
You’ll have to manually turn them off every time you want a normal game.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Create a ‘practice.cfg‘ File

Navigate to:

game/csgo/cfg/

5. Open ‘practice.cfg’ file

Paste the following commands:

Command	Category	Description
sv_cheats 1	Core	Required to enable all other practice commands.
sv_infinite_ammo 1	Ammo	Gives infinite ammo with no reloading required.
sv_infinite_ammo 2	Ammo	Gives infinite reserve ammo (requires reloading).
ammo_grenade_limit_total 5	Utility	Allows you to carry all types of grenades at once.
mp_buy_anywhere 1	Economy	Allows you to open the buy menu anywhere on the map.
mp_buytime 9999	Economy	Removes the time limit for purchasing items.
mp_roundtime_defuse 60	Match	Sets the round length to 60 minutes.
mp_freezetime 0	Match	Removes the waiting period at the start of a round.
mp_warmup_end	Match	Immediately ends the warmup phase.
mp_restartgame 1	Server	Restarts the game to apply all configuration changes.

7. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

8. Execute the Command

Type exec practice and press enter
