How To Enable Regenerative Healing on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

Important!

You must have SourceMod and MetaMod installed on your server before following this guide. If you do not have them yet, check out our guides on installing them first.

1. Download the Regenerative Healing Plugin

2. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

7. Upload the Regenerative Healing Plugin Into the ‘plugins’ Folder

8. Restart Your Server

9. How the Regenerative Healing Plugin Works

Once installed, Pain Pills and Adrenaline shots become your primary source of healing. When a player consumes them, instead of just giving temporary “grey” health that fades away, the plugin slowly converts it into permanent, solid health over a few seconds.

10. Customising the Plugin (Optional)

After starting the server with the plugin installed, it will automatically generate a configuration file at left4dead2/cfg/sourcemod/l4d_healing.cfg.

You can open this file to adjust things like how much permanent health pills give, the speed of the regeneration, or whether medkits should also heal over time!
