How To Enable or Disable Drones On Your Space Engineers Server

Note:

Disabling drones only stops the automatic generation of AI attack drones in space and on planets. It does not delete existing cargo ships or prevent players from building their own remote-controlled drones!

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘config’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saves’ Folder

5. Select the ‘World’ Folder

6. Inside the ‘World’ Folder, Select the ‘Sandbox_config.sbc‘ File

7. Toggle the Drones Setting

Scroll through the document until you find the Drones line. By default, it will look like this:

<EnableDrones>true</EnableDrones>

If you want to turn them off so players can build in peace, simply delete the word true and replace it with false:

<EnableDrones>false</EnableDrones>

(If they are currently off and you want to unleash the space pirates, just change false back to true!)

8. Save the Changes

9. Restart Your Server
