How to Exclude Factions on Your Squad Server

Note:

Always ensure the server is fully stopped before editing ExcludedFactions.cfg to prevent configurations from being overwritten upon restart.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘ExcludedFactions.cfg’ File

Navigate to:

SquadGame/ServerConfig/

5. Edit the ‘ExcludedFactions.cfg’ File

6. Enter the faction codes you wish to exclude

Common Squad Faction Identifiers

7. Understanding the Configuration

Configuration Type	Example Entry	What It Controls	Impact / Behavior
Full Faction Exclusion	INS	Removes all unit setups for that faction.	Prevents the Insurgents from appearing in any voting pool or random faction matchup.
