How to Generate and Add a GameStats Token (GST) to Your Insurgency Server

Note:

Always ensure your server files and local Steam game client are fully updated to the exact same version. Running outdated server binaries will cause authentication handshakes to fail with a DSM communication handshake failed error.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Go to Insurgency GameStats Token Generator

4. Connect your Steam account

5. Select Generate Token

6. Copy the resulting token string

---

7. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

---

8. Locate ‘GameStats token’ Variable

---

9. Paste your generated token string

---

10. Restart Your Server
