How To Enable Chunk Reset on Your 7 Days To Die Server

Note:

Enabling the chunk reset feature allows unvisited regions of the map to automatically restore to their original state after a set period of time, regenerating fresh loot and reducing overall server lag.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Locate the ‘serverconfig.xml’ File

You can find the file in home/container/serverconfig.xml.

5. Find and Replace the Value of “MaxChunkAge” to the Desired Value

The values can be set to: -1, 3, 7, 14 and 30.

6. Save Your Changes
