How to Change Animal Pen Taming Speeds in Conan Exiles

Note:

Taming pets and growing baby animals in the Animal Pen can take a substantial amount of time. Similar to thrall breaking, you can drastically reduce the wait time by tweaking your server’s backend animal pen multiplier.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Select the ‘ConanSandbox’ Folder

4. Select the ‘Saved’ Folder

5. Select the ‘Config’ Folder

6. Select the ‘WindowsServer’ Folder

7. Select the ‘ServerSettings.ini‘ File

8. Modify the Crafting Speed

Look for the line AnimalPenCraftingTimeMultiplier=1.0. Change the number to your desired value based on the examples above.

Note: If this line does not exist, simply create a new line directly underneath the [ServerSettings] header and type AnimalPenCraftingTimeMultiplier= followed by your chosen number.

9. Understand the Multiplier Logic

Because this setting modifies the time duration it takes to tame creatures, you must LOWER the number to speed it up.

0.1: Reduces the wait time to 10% of the original duration (ten times faster).

1.0 (Default): Standard pet taming time.

0.5: Cuts the taming time in half (twice as fast).
