How to Adjust Equipment Durability Drain on Your V Rising Server

Note:

The Equipment Wear Rate option dictates how fast weaponry, armor, and tools get damaged during gameplay. Smaller numbers mean slower wear, whereas larger ones will have the opposite effect.

1. Log in to Your Panel

2. Select Your VRising Server

You can do so by clicking the “Manage server” option, which will open the dashboard by default.

It should look like this :

3. Stop Your Server

4. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

Scroll down the Sidebar until you find the Files Tab.

5. Locate the ‘VRisingServer_Data’ File

Proceed to open it.

6. Locate the ‘StreamingAssets’ File

Proceed to open it.

7. Locate the ‘Settings’ File

Proceed to open it.

8. Locate the ‘ServerGameSettings.json’ File

Proceed to open it.

It should look like this:

9. Locate the Phrase Highlighted Below in the ‘ServerGameSettings.json’ File

Locate the DurabilityDrainModifier inside the file:

10. Replace the Values of the Highlighted Phrase Below Accordingly

“0.5”: Equipment loses durability at half the normal rate.
“EQUIPMENT DURABILITY INCREASED”

OR

“1.0”: Default durability drain rate.Rising servers.
“EQUIPMENT DURABILITY DEFAULT”

OR

“2.0”: Equipment loses durability twice as fast.
“EQUIPMENT DURABILITY DECREASED”

11. Save the Newly Made Changes

Use the highlighted button to do so.

12. Restart Your Server and Game

13. Verify the Changes In-Game

Join your server and compare the durability loss rate to confirm that the new setting has taken effect.
for example,
after 10 hits the sword loses 9 durability points (INCREASED Durability Drain)
after 10 hits the sword loses 6 durability points (DEFAULT Durability Drain)
after 10 hits the sword loses 3 durability points (DECREASED Durability Drain)
