How to Adjust Equipment Stats on Your V Rising Server

Note:

The Equipment Stats settings control several bonuses provided by equipped gear on your V Rising server. These modifiers can change equipment health, resource yield, physical power, spell power, siege power, and movement speed.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

Scroll down the Sidebar until you find the Files Tab.

4. Locate the ‘ServerGameSettings.json’ File

Navigate to: VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings/ServerGameSettings.json

It should look like this:

5. Locate the Phrase Highlighted Below in the ‘ServerGameSettings.json’ File

Locate the "EquipmentStatModifiers_Global” within the file.

Inside it, you will find:

MaxHealthModifier
ResourceYieldModifier
PhysicalPowerModifier
SpellPowerModifier
SiegePowerModifier
MovementSpeedModifier

These control the corresponding equipment stats.

6. Replace the Values of the Highlighted Phrase Below Accordingly

Max Health Modifier

0.5: Reduces maximum health provided by equipment by 50%.

0.75: Reduces it by 25%.

1.0: Default equipment health used in standard V Rising servers.

1.25: Increases it by 25%.

Resource Yield Modifier

0.5: Reduces resource yield from equipment by 50%.

0.75: Reduces it by 25%.

1.0: Default equipment resource yield used in standard V Rising servers.

Physical Power Modifier

0.5: Reduces physical power provided by equipment by 50%.

1.0: Default physical power provided by equipment in standard V Rising servers.

0.5: Reduces spell power provided by equipment by 50%.

0.5: Reduces siege power provided by equipment by 50%.

Movement Speed Modifier

0.5: Reduces movement speed provided by equipment by 50%.

1.0: Default movement speed provided by equipment in standard V Rising servers.

7. Check the JSON Formatting

Make sure the values are entered correctly and that the JSON formatting remains unchanged. Do not remove quotation marks, commas, or curly brackets when editing the setting.

8. Save the Newly Made Changes

Use the highlighted button to do so.

9. Restart Your Server and Game

10. Verify the Changes In-Game

Join your server and equip the relevant gear to check that the selected modifier has been applied.

0.5: The selected equipment stat is reduced by 50%.

0.75: The selected equipment stat is reduced by 25%.

1.0: The selected equipment stat remains at the default value.

Check the relevant in-game stat, such as Max Health, Resource Yield, Physical Power, Spell Power, Siege Power, or Movement Speed, to confirm the change.
