How To Enable or Disable Immersive Exploration on Your Windrose Server

Note:

Disabling ‘Easy Explore’ in the configuration files enables Immersive Exploration, which removes map markers for points of interest to provide a more challenging experience.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Open the WorldDescription.json File

Navigate to: home/container/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/Default/RocksDB/

Select the folder with the most recent ‘Last Modified’ date, then open:

WorldDescription.json

4. Choose Exploration Setting

Enable Immersive Exploration (No Markers):

"{\"TagName\": \"WDS.Parameter.EasyExplore\"}": false

Disable Immersive Exploration (Show Markers):

"{\"TagName\": \"WDS.Parameter.EasyExplore\"}": true

5. Update the Easy Explore Setting

6. Restart the Server
