How to Change the XP Multiplier on Your ARK: Survival Evolved Server

Note:

To ensure your configuration changes are saved successfully without the live server engine overwriting them, go to your main Cybrancee dashboard and click Stop.
If the header already exists in your file, simply add the lines directly underneath it instead of duplicating the header

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘GameUserSettings.ini‘ File

Navigate to:

/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer

5. Edit the ‘GameUserSettings.ini‘ File

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside GameUserSettings.ini file

Configuration Element	Exact Code	Notes
Header Section	[ServerSettings]	Ensure this is present in the file. General server progression settings must go beneath this specific header.
XP Multiplier	XPMultiplier=1.5	Place directly under the header. Multiplies all experience gained. 1.0 is default, 1.5 grants a 50% boost, and 2.0 doubles the gain.

6. Understanding the Configuration

Because this acts as a direct multiplier, you must RAISE the number to level up faster.

1.0 (Default): Standard Official experience gain rates.

5.0: Grants 5x the normal experience for crafting, hunting, and passive survival, drastically speeding up the leveling process.
