How To Change the Password on Your Windrose Server

Note:

You must have the password enabled for this setting to take effect. You can see more info here [How To Enable or Disable Password on Your Windrose Server].

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

3. Open the ServerDescription.json File

Navigate to: home/container/R5/

Then open: ServerDescription.json

4. Update the Server Password Setting

Modify the following line:

"Password": "YourPasswordHere"

Note: Server passwords cannot contain special characters. Use only letters, numbers, and spaces.

5. Update the Password Setting

6. Restart the Server
