How To Upload Your World to Your Palworld Server

Important!

The host player will lose their character progression when transferring the saved game, since the server takes over the role of the host character. This is why a common practice is for the host to store as many items or Pals as possible in chests and palboxes before transferring the world.

1. Open Your File Explorer

2. Locate the ‘SaveGames’ Folder on Your PC

You can find the folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames

Make sure to replace <username> with your PC’s username.

3. Select Your SteamID64 Folder

If you don’t know how to identify your SteamID64, you can view our ‘How to Find a User’s SteamID’ article.

4. Select the World Folder You Want To Upload

4.1. Compress the Files Inside the World Folder

(1) Select All the Files Inside the Folder.

(2) Select the ‘WinRAR’ Button.

(3) Select the ‘Add to Archive’ Button.

Once the files are compressed, it should look like this:

5. Log In to Your Panel

6. Stop Your Server

7. Select the ‘Files’ tab

8. Locate the ‘0’ Folder

You can find the folder in /home/container/Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/.

9. Select the Server’s World Folder

10. Delete the Files Inside the Server’s World Folder

(1) Check the Box To Select All the Files Inside the Folder.

(2) Select the ‘Delete’ Button.

11. Upload the Compressed File of Your World

Upload the compressed file of your world from step 4.1.

11.1. Unarchive the Compressed File of Your World

Right-click on the compressed file and select the ‘Unarchive’ button.

Once that’s done, it should look like this:
