How To Install a Retake Plugin on Your CS2 Server

Note:

If you encounter a “You don’t have permission” message when using admin commands (like !forcebombsite or !showspawns), it means your SteamID is not yet recognised as an administrator by CounterStrikeSharp.
Prerequisites: Metamod:Source and CounterStrikeSharpmust be installed first.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Download the Plugin

Download the PlayerSettings.zip file download the latest version

4. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

5. Upload the Extracted File

Upload the .zip file to your server’s game/csgo/ directory then Unarchive the .zip file

6. Start Your Server

7. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

8. Execute the Command

Type: css_plugins list

If it returns [#2:LOADED]: “Retakes Plugin” (3.0.3) by B3none

Then it is installed successfully

Once installed, the Retakes plugin runs automatically. There is no command required to turn the game mode on. Ensure your server is set to run a standard mode (like Competitive) and once a minimum of two players join the server, the warmup phase will end and retake rounds will automatically begin!

In-Game Chat Commands

!voices	Toggles the centre-screen bombsite text announcements on or off.	Admin (@css/admin)
!showspawns <A/B>	Enters the editor and visually displays all spawn locations for that site.	Root Admin
!addspawn <CT/T> <Y/N>	Adds a spawn point where you are standing (Y/N = allowed to plant the bomb).	Root Admin
!removespawn	Deletes the spawn point closest to your current location.	Root Admin
!nearestspawn	Teleports you to the closest existing spawn point.	Root Admin
!hidespawns	Saves changes, hides visual indicators, and exits the spawn editor.	Root Admin
!mapconfigs	Displays a list of all available map spawn configuration files.	Root Admin
!mapconfig <name>	Forces the server to load a specific map config file manually.	Root Admin
css_plugins unload RetakesPlugin	Unloads the plugin to temporarily disable the retakes game mode and return to standard gameplay.	Server Console / RCON
