How To Enable/Disable Friendly Fire on Your CS2 Server

Note:

If your custom settings are not being saved, add the commands to gamemode_casual_server.cfg rather than server.cfg. Default casual rules can override manual changes. To confirm the update, enter the game and run the mp_friendlyfire command in the console.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘server.cfg’ File

Navigate to:

game/csgo/cfg/

5. Edit the file

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside server.cfg

Friendly Fire Command Table

Action	Command	Value	Effect
Enable	mp_friendlyfire	1	Teammates can damage each other.
Disable	mp_friendlyfire	0	Teammates cannot damage each other.
Bullet Damage	ff_damage_reduction_bullets	0.0 to 1.0	Multiplier for how much bullet damage is dealt.
Grenade Damage	ff_damage_reduction_grenade	0.0 to 1.0	Multiplier for HE grenade damage to teammates.
Auto-Kick	mp_autokick	1 / 0	Toggles automatic kicking for excessive TKs.
