How To Enable or Disable the Password on Your Sons Of The Forest Server

Note:

This setting will determine whether there is a need for a password. For the creation or change of the password, please see How To Set a Password on Your Sons Of The Forest Server.

1. Log into Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Locate the ‘dedicatedserver.cfg’ File

1) Select the ‘Files’ tab.

2) Open the ‘serverconfig’ folder.

3) Finally open the ‘dedicatedserver.cfg’ file.

4. Modify the ‘dedicatedserver.cfg’ File

Add this below the password setting: ” “PasswordEnabled” : “

5. Modify the “PasswordEnabled”: Value

A)Change the value to – “true”
so that the password becomes a requirement to join the server.

B)Change the value to – “false”
so that the password is not required to join the server.

6. Save Your Changes

---

7. Restart Your Server
