How To Add an Economy Store System for Buying Weapons and Perks on Your Left 4 Dead 2 Server

Important!

You must have SourceMod and MetaMod installed on your server before following this guide. If you do not have them yet, check out our guides on installing them first.

1. Download the Shop Plugin

2. Select the ‘Shop.zip‘ File and Select ‘Extract Here’

Note: You can use programs like WinRAR or 7zip to extract the zip file

3. Select the Extracted Folder

4. Inside the Extracted Folder Select the Sourcemod Folder

5. Select All the Files Inside the Sourcemod Folder and Archive them using ‘Add to Archive’ Option

Select all the files and right-click them to open the pop-up menu. From the menu, select WinRAR, and then click Add to archive.

6. Name the Archive and Select the ‘Ok’ Option

7. Log In to Your Panel

8. Select the ‘left4dead2’ Folder

9. Select the ‘addons’ Folder

---

10. Select ‘sourcemod’ Folder

---

11. Upload the Archive to ‘sourcemod’ Folder

12. Extract the Archive

---

13. Restart Your Server

14. Using the Shop Menu

As shown in the screenshots, players can open the visual store by typing !shop (or !buy) in the chat to spend their points on weapons, throwables, or airstrikes.

15. Admin Controls

If you want to test it out immediately without having to grind zombie kills, just type !admin in the chat. As seen in the final screenshot, this opens the admin menu where you can select Shop Commands to give yourself free points!
