How to Adjust the Maximum Castle Floor Limit on Your V Rising Server

Note:

The Maximum Castle Floor Limit controls how many floor tiles a castle can have based on its Castle Heart level. Each Castle Heart level has its own FloorLimit value, so you can increase or decrease the maximum number of floors available at each level.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

Scroll down the Sidebar until you find the Files Tab.

4. Locate the ‘ServerGameSettings.json’ File

Navigate to: VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings/ServerGameSettings.json

It should look like this:

5. Locate the Phrase Highlighted Below in the ‘ServerGameSettings.json’ File

Locate the CastleStatModifiers_Global section and then find the HeartLimits section.

Inside HeartLimits, you will find the Castle Heart levels from Level1 to Level5. Each level contains a FloorLimit value that controls the maximum number of floors available at that Castle Heart level.

6. Replace the Values of the Highlighted Phrase Below Accordingly

Castle Heart Level	FloorLimit Value	Effect
Level 1	30	Allows up to 30 floors at Castle Heart Level 1.
Level 1	40	Allows up to 40 floors at Castle Heart Level 1.
Level 1	50	Allows up to 50 floors at Castle Heart Level 1.
Level 2	100	Allows up to 100 floors at Castle Heart Level 2.
Level 2	120	Allows up to 120 floors at Castle Heart Level 2.
Level 2	140	Allows up to 140 floors at Castle Heart Level 2.
Level 3	180	Allows up to 180 floors at Castle Heart Level 3.
Level 3	210	Allows up to 210 floors at Castle Heart Level 3.
Level 3	240	Allows up to 240 floors at Castle Heart Level 3.
Level 4	300	Allows up to 300 floors at Castle Heart Level 4.
Level 4	330	Allows up to 330 floors at Castle Heart Level 4.
Level 4	360	Allows up to 360 floors at Castle Heart Level 4.
Level 5	450	Allows up to 450 floors at Castle Heart Level 5.
Level 5	500	Allows up to 500 floors at Castle Heart Level 5.
Level 5	550	Allows up to 550 floors at Castle Heart Level 5.

How to Use the Values

Choose the FloorLimit value that you want for each Castle Heart level and replace the existing value in the corresponding Level1 through Level5 section.

For example, under:

HeartLimits > Level1

you would change the FloorLimit value for Level 1.

Then do the same for Level2, Level3, Level4, and Level5 as needed.

7. Check the JSON Formatting

Make sure the values are entered correctly and that the JSON formatting remains unchanged. Do not remove quotation marks, commas, or curly brackets when editing the setting.

8. Save the Newly Made Changes

Use the highlighted button to do so.

9. Restart Your Server and Game

10. Verify the Changes In-Game

Enter your castle and check the available building space to confirm that the new FloorLimit has been applied.

50: Allows up to 50 floors at Castle Heart Level 1.

140: Allows up to 140 floors at Castle Heart Level 2.

240: Allows up to 240 floors at Castle Heart Level 3.

360: Allows up to 360 floors at Castle Heart Level 4.

550: Allows up to 550 floors at Castle Heart Level 5.

Check the available building space at the corresponding Castle Heart level to confirm that the setting has taken effect.
