How to Use Chunk Generators in Minecraft

->  Pregenerate Chunks in the Overworld

1. Enter the Command /chunky radius <number>

If you are playing in a singleplayer world, you can set the pregenerator to a ‘busy area radius’, which is around 5,000 to 8,000 blocks.

However, if you are playing on an SMP, you can set this radius to a value between 10,000 and 20,000 blocks.

2. Enter the Command /chunky start

This will start the pregeneration of the defined radius area.

3. Check the Pregeneration Process

If you’re playing in singleplayer, you’ll see a progress bar at the top of the screen, which indicates the progress and remaining time for the pregeneration of chunks:

However, if have a server you can see the chunk pregeneration process in real time on the console:

4. Pause or Stop the Pregeneration Process

If you want, you can pause the pregeneration process with the command: /chunky pause.

You can also cancel the process with the command: /chunky cancel.

->  Pregenerate Chunks in the Nether or the End

You can pregenerate chunks in the Nether or the End without having to go directly to those dimensions.

1. Enter the Command /chunky start world_nether

Make sure you have previously entered the /chunky radius command.

Make sure you have previously entered the /chunky radius command.
