How To Wipe a Rust Server: Including World, Blueprints and Playerdata

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Locate Your Rust Server Files

Locate your Rust server files at /home/container/server/rust.

5. Select the Files

  • Blueprint Wipe – Delete the .blueprints files
    Removes every blueprint that players have unlocked, forcing them to re-learn all crafting recipes. This helps reset the balance between new and veteran players.
  • Player Data Wipe – Delete the .db files to clear player data.
    Resets player inventories, stats, and progress while keeping blueprints intact. Often combined with a map wipe to give everyone a fresh start but preserve crafting knowledge. Often used together with a map wipe to fully reset the world without removing learned recipes.
  • Map Wipe – Delete the .map or .sav files.
    This removes the entire generated world, including player bases, buildings, and terrain modifications. Players start on a brand-new map with no previous structures.

6. Delete the Selected Files

Select the ‘Delete’ button (trash can icon).

7. Set Your Map Details

Enter the world size and seed for this wipe.
If you’re using a custom map, you can leave these fields blank and follow How To Set A Custom Map On Your Rust Server to set up your map instead.
