Managing User Access Levels in Project Zomboid

1. Log In to Your Panel


2. Select the ‘Console’ Tab

3. Enter the Following Command in the Console

Enter the command /setaccesslevel "username" "accesslevel" in the console, replacing “username” with the player name and “accesslevel” with one of the following levels:

  • admin: They can use all commands, server configuration, player management and debug mode.
  • moderator: They can kick, ban, teleport players, chat moderation and spectator mode.
  • overseer: They can use invisibility, godmode, spectator mode and chat access, but they can’t interact with the world.
  • gm: They can spawn items/zombies, teleport, use godmode and they are visible to players.
  • observer: They can use spectator mode only, but they can’t interact or use the chat.

As an example, we will enter setaccesslevel "Jack" "moderator" in the console (to grant moderator rank to a user), then press the Enter key.
