How To Enable bActiveUNKO on Your Palworld Server

Note:

On many 2026 dedicated server builds, bEnablePlayerToPlayerDamage acts as a security handshake. Even if a player is labelled as an “Enemy” on the map, the server will block all damage packets unless this specific boolean is set to True.

If you are running a Tournament World, we highly recommend using a WorldOption.sav to force this setting. Sometimes the .ini file can desync during high-traffic updates, but the .sav file ensures player damage is always active for your competitors.

1. Log In to Your Panel

3. Select the ‘Files’ Tab

4. Open the ‘PalWorldSettings.ini’ File

Navigate to:

Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

5. Search for ‘bActiveUNKO‘

Tip: Use Ctrl + F to quickly find the required setting inside PalWorldSettings.ini

Setting Name	Recommended Value	Effect
bActiveUNKO	True	Pals will produce dung in the Ranch for use as fertiliser.
bActiveUNKO	False	Disables the mechanic; Ranch Pals will only produce their specific items (Eggs, Wool, etc.).
DropItemMaxNum_UNKO	100	Limits how much dung can exist on the ground before it begins to despawn.
