How to Add Admins to Your DayZ Server

Note:

DayZ does not use an admin list system.

There is no file or menu where you can permanently assign admins.

Instead, a player becomes an admin only by logging in with the admin password while in-game.

Admin status lasts until the player logs out or types #logout.

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Stop Your Server

3. Select the ‘Startup’ Tab

4. Locate the Admin Password

This is the password players will use to log in as administrators in-game.

5. Launch DayZ

6. Connect to Your Server

7. Log in as Admin

Note:

Admins must log in manually each time they join the server — admin status is not permanent.

Once connected, open the in-game chat (press Enter) and type: #login <password>

Replace <password> with the admin password shown in your panel.

8 (Optional). Logout as Admin

To remove admin privileges, type: #logout
