How To Add an Admin to Your Don’t Starve Together Server

1. Log In to Your Panel

2. Navigate to the ‘server’ Folder

You should create a new file called ‘adminlist.txt’ in

/home/container/DoNotStarveTogether/config/server

Inside you should type the Klei ID of the person you want to add as an admin.

3. Find Your Klei ID

You can find your Klei account information here: Klei Account

4. Find Other Players Klei IDs

When you are in-game, you can type the following command in your server console, to get other players ids:

for i, v in ipairs(TheNet:GetClientTable()) do
    print(v.name, v.userid)
end

5. Restart Your Server

Select the ‘Console’ tab and then select the ‘Restart’ button. Keep an eye out for any error messages relating to your server token.

6. Start Your Game and Select ‘Browse Games’

Here you should find your game by searching your server name, then join it.

Once you are inside the game, you should see a star next to the players icon indicating that person is an admin.
