How To Add Custom Chat Emojis On Your Rust Server

Requirements for Custom Emojis

To work correctly, custom emojis must meet these specifications:

  • File Format: .png or .jpg (Note: .jpg files do not support transparency)
  • Maximum Size: 256×256 pixels
  • Maximum File Size: 250 KB
  • Colours: Avoid 8-bit or 16-bit images, as they may not display properly

These requirements ensure that the emojis display correctly in-game.
